Starting 2009 all Play &Pay violin and viola instruments will be the "Amati". Voted "best student outfit" by ASTA (American String Teachers Association) members who were able to pick-up and play from the many displayed in at their annual 2008 meeting. They have highly flamed maple and high grade spruce wood, all ebony fittings, the tailpiece is set up with four fine tuners. We set them up with D'Addario Helicore strings and adjust the instrument for playablility. The case is one of the best I have seen! The outfit will include a Glasser fiberglass bow and rosin.
